- This article explains what Response Forms are and the rationale for using them.
- In addition, it also guides you how and when to use your Security Pin.
Response Forms
- These are forms designed to communicate quickly with Avar.
- Response Forms have many purposes and may be used to approve a VAT Return, End of Year Accounts or Personal Tax Returns as well as being a useful tool for client surveys.
- Response Forms are sent by SMS or Telegram, in the main.
- Forms which require more detail will be sent via email.
- You will need your Security Pin to submit a Response Form as well as your Unique Reference Number (URN).
- Your URN helps Avar to identify each client and this is usually in 7-digit alphanumeric format.
Security Pin & Authentication
- Your Security Pin is an 8-digit number and is a choice between the following:
- Your Date of Birth (ddmmyyyy)
- Spouse Date of Birth (ddmmyyyy)
- Your Son’s Date of Birth (ddmmyyyy)
- Your Daughter’s Date of Birth (ddmmyyyy)
- Last 8 Digits of Mobile Number
- Last 8 Digits of Home Telephone Number
- Custom 8 Digit Pin
- This Security Pin is required when submitting Response Forms to Avar, and in all instances where a secured login to our systems is required for example:
- Avar Portal
- Avar Website
- Access to Online Documents
- Your security pin will be pre-arranged with Avar.
- If you forget you Pin, please send us a notification on Telegram and we will send you and new one.
